Ever desire to learn the basics of sailing. Arrange a Hobie cat lesson and get started with your sailing expeditions. The lessons will demonstrate the basics of Hobie Cat sailing as you glide over the bay of St Jean. A great way for teenagers and young adults to spend a day on St Barts.
I had a great two hours on the water with Lucas "showing me the ropes," sailing the Hobie Cat.
The boat was in very good shape--neat and clean, and comfortable to scramble around on. Lucas was a wonderful leader--friendly, informative and an obviously skilled sailor. He let me handle the boat as much as I was capable while quietly keeping in charge in a subtle way to keep things safe and all the while teaching and informing as we went.
We had a blast zipping out of St Jean over to Grand Cul de Sac where we took a little break and then looping through Lorient, and back to St Jean.
I highly recommend. I learned a lot and had an excellent time.
Arrival Instructions / What to Bring:- The rentals can be delivered to the client's accommodation at an additional fee, or clients can pick their rental at the store, located at Plage de St Jean.
- Delivery fee depends on villa location. Payable on-site, in cash.
- Classes are held on the beach. Find us on Saint Jean's Beach airport side, next to the Pearl Beach Hotel.
The service is available to the public and can be booked by anyone.
Booking PolicyFull payment is required at reservation.
Booking needs to be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellation PolicyCancellation policy: 20% is non-refundable upon booking. For cancellations within 7 days of the service/activity, no refunds are provided.
Change requests: Reservation changes after a service/activity is confirmed is subject to a $35 change fee.
