Offering private access to the sugary sands of the beaches along Anse de Cays Bay in St. Barts, the Villa Claridge is a fantastically luxurious retreat with views of the island and even Bonhomme Island in the distance. Of course, you may savor the views without strolling down to the beach thanks to the fine amenities right at the villa itself.
The focal point for many is the pool terrace with its array of living spaces. Here you find the pool, a fully-furnished sun deck, an outdoor bar, a set of round sun beds, a gazebo with sun beds, and just steps below the terrace is an al fresco dining pavilion. Clearly designed to encourage hours spent taking in the scenery, the villa also has several terraces overlooking the water, and a covered terrace with lounges.
A spacious property, it features a stunning number of shared living spaces indoors and outdoors. Steps inside the bank of glass doors from the al fresco lounge beneath the portico and you enter the exotically furnished great room. With its white beams, high ceilings and large, white banquette sofas it is livened up with darkly stained wooden accent pieces, richly colored rugs, and impressive décor. It contains a living room area and leads you up to a home theater space and work area above.
Nearby, the enormous, professional level kitchen offers a breakfast bar, formal dining room, and stainless steel appliances that make meal prep a delight.
Though quite luxurious, this five-bedroom property is also family friendly. This is why the bedrooms have all been designed to serve as private retreats, and each is located just far enough from the other to guarantee peace and quiet. With sitting areas, terrace access, and large private baths, they are ideal hideaways and leisure spaces.
The Villa Claridge is a great find for families or groups looking for a private, Caribbean retreat.

“Great villa 200 steps (literally) to the ocean”
We have been going to St. Barths for 20 years and this villa did not disappoint. It was super spacious, very private and definitely as described. Great villa for 4 couples or 2 families. The highlight for us was being able to walk the 200 stairs down to the ocean every morning.
