Rock stands for “King of the Rock” in this three-bedroom villa overlooking Lorient Bay and pretty much everything in between. The Rock is a spectacular villa on top of a mountain in Camaruche, St. Barts, where guests come to get above the clouds for a little while. The name also speaks to Villa Rock’s ultra-minimalist decor designed to enhance the natural elements that make St. Barts a world-class tropical getaway.
What guests will notice first at Villa Rock is the view of green hills dotted with red villas far below. White sand beaches curve along the coastline to meet the point in the distance and the sea spreads out as far as the eye can see to the right of the pool deck. The infinity pool disappears on the horizon where ocean shallows meet blue sky. Lounge chairs, wicker deck chairs and a low table on a driftwood-gray pool terrace offer plenty of places for sunbathing, reading or sitting in lively conversation.
Under the veranda, there is a dining table for meals enjoyed alfresco, perhaps catered or cooked by an in-home chef.* In-villa spa treatments are also available* for those just wishing to relax and enjoy the view without pesky shoulder tension. Three bedrooms with queen beds have en-suite bathrooms complete with shower, vanity and water closet. Each bedroom is air-conditioned with a television and private terrace or natural view. The bathrooms have bright tile, waterfall shower heads, and plush towels that are changed out by daily maid service, excepting Sundays and holidays. A property manager is on-call, and a pool person and gardener are on staff as well.
The kitchen is marvelous with all appliances designed to blend in with the white cabinetry and walls, except where rich wooden accents mark the handles of the refrigerator, for instance. An attractive lamp above the kitchen bar with matching stools ties the accents together. In some rooms, there is hardly anything by way of decor besides the furniture itself. The king bedroom has two lights that are essentially metal arms sticking out of a white wall to offer flexible reading light in bed. Instead of flashy decoration, views of the ocean or palm jungle are enhanced by the minimal and natural. Experience joy naturally at the Rock.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.
