Villa Cypraea is part of the Flamands area of St. Barts, placing visitors at the far western end of the island and high enough in the hills to deliver amazing views of Ile Chevreau and St. Barthelemy Natural Reserve in the distance (to the north). With an easy drive to Gustavia, Lorient and other popular areas, along with the amazing beaches, shops, restaurants and sights, it is a fantastic find.
The two-bedroom villa is designed in classic island style and uses wooden shingles, natural stone and other appealing materials to create an organic and entirely welcoming setting. Most visitors are instantly struck by the multi-level design and layout that ensures good views from almost every room. Also, many are pulled to the pool terrace with its infinity edge pool leading the gaze to the sea in the distance and the rolling hills nearby. With a fully furnished sun deck, it is the perfect gathering spot at any hour of the day or night. The terrace also features the small verandah where the al fresco dining is found. There is also a barbecue to enjoy and put to use whipping up meals with island-fresh ingredients.
The verandah opens into the interior, shared living area, of the villa. Here, a distinctly chic mid-century, modern esthetic blends seamlessly with the high ceilings, pale palette and natural materials used. The great room incorporates the living room and formal dining room, and kitchen. With floor to ceiling, sliding glass walls, it is possible to sit indoors while enjoying the sunlight and sea breezes just outside. Cooks will love the full kitchen, and the fact that it too enables them to make a meal or beverage while also savoring the setting and remaining fully involved in the conversation!
The two bedrooms both feature lovely sea views and include a king suite with a dressing room, terrace, and large bath with shower. The second bedroom is a queen suite, and it too has a dressing room and ensuite bath and opens directly to the pool terrace.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
