When you decide to visit the Grand Cul de Sac area of St. Barts, it’s in your best interest to start expecting to be treated as if you’re royalty. Vacations that take place on St. Barts offer luxury and opulence in every moment, and if it’s your time to shine, you’d best make your way to be under the spotlights! The best way to do that is to stay at the African Queen villa. This villa stretches out over 22,000 sq. ft., and it sleeps up to ten guests at a time. There are five bedrooms with queen-size beds, and each bedroom has an adjoining ensuite bathroom, as well. This is the sort of property that is great for groups of couples, but that’s not to say that using this villa as a gathering space for a family reunion or wedding party would go amiss!
When you reside at the African Queen villa, you’ll feel as if you’re living out your wildest fantasies. This villa offers all guests the chance to experience the private and serenity-inducing vacation of their dreams. From the exotic art pieces and statues that make up most of the décor – collected from when the owner used to travel to Africa and collect items – you’ll find yourself transported to a completely new location, beyond the wonder of St. Barts, even! And fun fact… many famous writers, musicians, artists, and actors have stayed at this villa, as well!
African Queen was specifically created by a team of artists who wanted to ensure that any guest to the villa will feel like they are royals themselves. The design is one of the most unique to exist amongst the St. Barts’ villas, largely due to its minimalist geometry, whitewashed walls, clean architectural lines, its freeform, and open floor plan. Spend hours admiring the fuchsia-colored bougainvillea that twines around the outside of the villa, as well as the terracotta color that is used both inside and outside the villa.
This villa is near enough to the lagoon that you can view it from the on-site rock-edged swimming pool that wins the award for the largest private pool on St. Barts at 90 ft. long. Or, if the pool isn’t where you’d like to do your sightseeing, trek up to the wooden deck and settle into the provided hammock for a different vantage point for those stunning visuals.
Privacy and relaxation are the end goals, and they’re ones that you can achieve when you stay at the African Queen villa.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
