Tucked into the peace and seclusion of the Colombier area of St. Barts, Villa Taniko is a lovely three-bedroom hideaway that provides a remarkable setting meant for complete relaxation. Surrounded by mature plantings and palms, this villa looks out over the verdant hills to the sea beyond.
Though the scenery is a real showstopper, the centerpiece of the villa is its unique tear-shaped pool. Wrapped with wooden decking and dotted with loungers, it will be a favorite gathering spot. Just steps up from the terrace, however, you find the covered terrace where even more lounging areas are provided. An al fresco dining area opens to a lounge amply stocked with comfortable furnishings. Take a few steps inside the large and open doorways and you discover the wonderful great room.
A shared living space, it includes the formal dining area, the complete gourmet kitchen, and the living room. With its high ceilings and pale palette, this space really manages to capture the light as well as the breezes coming in from outdoors. The plush furnishings will tempt you to linger indoors, and the entertainment system will be great for late nights, but few can resist the amazing amenities just outside.
The three bedrooms are also very tempting, with their views and excellent decor. The master bedroom has queen bed, terrace access and garden views. It features an oversized and private ensuite bathroom. The remaining rooms have garden views and queen beds, and share a bath.
Whether you are traveling with your family or a group of close friends, the Villa Taniko has what you need for an utterly enjoyable escape. The pool and terrace areas, the great room and amenities, and the large and private bedrooms all make for a wonderful getaway and the views out over the lush Colombier landscape will linger with you long after you return home.
Villa Taniko is absolutely amazing. The view of Gustavia with a perfect breeze made for an excellent week of relaxation. We hired a chef one evening and had friends visit from 2 other villas. A wonderful experience with plenty of space to entertain and enjoy light music.
Thibault was extremely pleasant and helpful during our stay. Our daily visits from our housekeeper Montana were always a delight.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.
