Perhaps the word prestige summons associations with seriousness, but there’s nothing wrong with a seriously subdued getaway at a private villa overlooking Gustavia Harbor, especially when it’s as gorgeous as Villa Prestige.
The first thing guests may notice upon entering the main living space, for instance, is the lighting. A ring-shaped, black-wicker chandelier hovers high up in the white vaulted ceilings, and five hanging cord lamps in the background let the eye travel downward to the kitchen there and the white couch in the foreground. Two featureless shape lamps on wooden-stilt frames nestle against a pale, wine-stained feature wall accented by a piece of creeping driftwood. Red roses on a low wooden coffee table with umber and yellow accent pillows in the background create an ornate, comfortable space with a low-key vibe.
Driftwood cabinets in the kitchen, vaulted ceilings, glass doors with a harbor view beyond, and black storm shutters with white, sheer linen drapes offer a sense of breezy movement that might encourage a wander onto the balcony overlooking the harbor. A gourmet meal can be enjoyed al fresco at the large dining set there, and the complimentary concierge can make chef or catering arrangements (among other bookings and activities). The veranda lounge and patio overlooking Gustavia Harbor invite evening sunset views with fine wine and company.
Two king-sized bedrooms and one queen-sized bedroom create the lodging experience at Villa Prestige. All three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, with showers, WCs, vanities, and safes. Each is also air-conditioned, has its own television, and maintains a unique interior design that impresses the eyes and soothes the senses.
Shocking splashes of yellow against a black frame on white walls in one room are mirrored in a yellow room with black rowboat paddles and a stunning full-length mirror with a wide driftwood frame. Two rooms have terrace access and each has an impressive waterfall shower with smooth stone surfaces. In-spa services are available for those days when a good massage is needed, and maid service comes to clean daily* so shoulder knots that have been kneaded out by the masseuse can stay gone.
For a vacation that is entirely modern but classic in its beauty, style, and temperament, escape to Villa Prestige and roost on the hillside overlooking the boats in the harbor. Our favorite place and home on the island. This is our second year staying in this rental. The location is perfect. You don’t feel guilty for eating a croissant everyday because the hill to get back to the home burns off the calories ! So close to downtown and all the restaurants. You don’t really need a car but we did get one this year to venture around the island. I recommend this home.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.
